General

Air Link's staffs are located in Dubbo, NSW a regional centre of some 40,000 people. Regarded as the capital of western New South Wales, Dubbo has a catchment population of over 120,000 and is situated 430 km by road from Sydney.
Air Link has functional positions covering Flight Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Ground Handling and Administration. Air Link currently does not have Flight Attendants.

Pilots - Initial Entrance

Minimum qualifications for Flight Crew are:

  • Commercial Pilots License with Multi-engine endorsement
  • Current Command Instrument Rating
  • 800 hours Total Time
  • 400 hours Pilot in Command
  • 150 Hours Multi Engine in Command
  • 50 hours Night Flight

Air Link places a strong emphasis on an applicant's ability to successfully undertake our training regime and the applicant's potential to adopt the culture and standards of the Company. The above requirements are desirable however, not essential.

Engineers

Engineers holding applicable licenses in either engine/airframe or electrical/instrument categories are welcome to apply for a position with the Company.

Customer Service for Regional Express

Air Link provide check in and ground services for Regional Express at the Dubbo airport. The Customer Service Officers are expected to place a strong emphasis on presentation and the ability to communicate with passengers via telephone and face to face. The use of the Sabre Global Distribution System is not essential however previous experience in customer service is desirable. The Ground Service Officers are responsible for aircraft marshalling, baggage and freight handling, aircraft detailing and general duties within the airline. Both the Customer and Ground Service Officer positions are based on weekend, public holiday and shift work on a rotating roster.
